Rain & Rhythm
Another Tuesday, another fresh sheet, another atmospheric river. Feeling grateful for a return to rhythms and routines; a quiet house, candlelight and computer work while dinner simmers in the woodstove and the rain belts down outside.
Despite the terrible weather, I love this lull between holidays and the start of the spring season on the farm.
It always makes me think about breathwork in yoga - the pause, the suspension at the top of the inhale. You do not breathe in or breathe out in that moment. There is a stillness, a quietness there that often eludes us in our frenetic daily life.
Soon there will be seeds to plant and lambs to be born, but now, in this moment there is music and candlelight and breath.
It won't last long. Drink it in.
As always.
Best,
Stacey
